Steve Hackett - Firth of fifth
Slash - Always on the run (Lenny Kravitz)
John Petrucci - Under a glass moon
David Gilmour - One of these days, comfortably numb
John Sykes - Is this love (Whitesnake)
Steve Vai - Cheap an' nasty (Whitesnake)

      Just some of my favorites.

Oh come on, people. Explore something being ordinary rock or blues.

Alan Holdsworth -- Atavachron. Listen to a guitarist sound like a synth player.
Robert Fripp -- A lot of stuff. Listen to a guitarist sound like... not a guitarist.
Steve Howe -- Siberian Katru. Sounds like a guitarist, but proficient nonetheless.
Steve Hackett -- A guitarist who actually knows how to play with dynamics, and a ruthlessly controlled vibrato.
Frank Zappa -- I'm the Slime. 4/4 and even tuplets are overrated.

Here's a few of my Favs:

              Gilmore-Comfortably Numb

              Pertrucci-Under a Glass Moon.

              Nuno- Get the Funk Out

              Rhodes - Revalation/Mother Earth

There's music in the background here at work and it's hard to think of other songs while it's playing.....
