Members miragelover
Can you create your own samples with Kontakt, the way you could with a say a Ensoniq Mirage? For example how would I sample my voice or my Yamaha TG-77?
Members evildragon
You can't sample with Kontakt. You can edit the hell out of already recorded samples, though.
Members miragelover
Ok, thanks. Another question, is there any software that you can sample with?
Members soundwave106
Ok, thanks. Another question, is there any software that you can sample with? Anything you can record a WAV file with. I use Sound Forge myself but if you don't have any WAV editor I recommend Audacity these days.

Members evildragon
E-MU Emulator X2/X3 can sample, too. Audacity is free, though.
Members Tony Scharf
Emu Emulator X3. It even has an application built in that lets you automate the process (how many keys per octave, how many velocity levels, how long to sample for etc. ) . Its a great too. I use it in to grab the samples, then export them as .wav into Kontact.
