Members Music Bird
I care because I want to make instrumental remakes of songs like these. I wonder if any of the sounds were presets? I was thinking of software I could get, and I already thought of M1 and Wavestation legacy and Proteus VX. I wonder if any of those songs used an M1, Wavestation, Proteus, or Sound Canvas? Also, D50, DX7 or Juno?
Members Music Bird
What I was trying to say is what was used in these songs?? I'm curious what in general was popular synth in Indonesia during this time?????????
Members MikeyParent
If you are trying to get these sounds on iPad I would probably recommend you check out the iM1 Exhaustive sound demo. This should inform your decision.
Members kbeaumont
Some of those sounds I heard (bells, sitar-like sounds etc) sound like an FM synth to me. The yamaha DX-7 & D50 were popular those years. The DX-7 was produced from 83 - 89 and the D-50 first came out in 1987. On the iPad there is the DXi FM synth https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/dxi-fm-synthesizer/id370138065?mt=8 There are others for the iPad to such as the TF7 and FM4.
