  • portable analoge modeling synth w/ 10+knobs?

don't waste yer time reading any further than this if you don't have a solution.

I looked through 20+ pages of Google and forum searches for "portable synthesizer" and found nothing.

Are there any portable (battery-powered) analoge modeling synths that have at least 10 knobs/sliders besides the Roland Gaia and Novation X Station? It must have at least 10 knobs so no micron, microkorg, etc suggestions. thanks.

well, there's not much in the way of battery powered VA synths at all. and why "at least 10 knobs/sliders"?

how about an SH-101 or MC-202?

thanks for suggestions. please must have a keyboard so no mc-202 stuff. I want lotsa knobs/sliders so i can tweak its and VST paramaters without a menue dive. hrm, sh-101 from 1983 is true analog and battery powered.

I'm not sure if this meets your portable-requirements, but it has 8+1 knobs and can be usb-powered. So if you are also carrying laptop with you, it might be the solution. http://rekkerd.org/img/201009/novation_ultranova.jpg

But if the synthesizer needs to be battery powered, I think the only knobbyish VA out there is the Gaia.

He needs to mention number of keys, max size..

Not that there will be a big choice..
