Members Sad Darwin
Wish I trusted a Craigslist ad, at that low of a price, in San Diego......... but I don't.

Members benmate
$1200. I guess it was too good to be true. But then again, maybe someone emailed the seller and then flagged it as spam so no one else could get it. If that's even possible.
Members zoink
Definitely too good to be true. I did see a legit $1750 Andromeda less than a year ago. Part of a commercial studio liquidation sale (not uncommon lately). It went in less than a day.
Members toddADSR
Total scam. I replied to the ad and this was the response I got: Hello, Thank you for your interest in my Alesis Andromeda A6 SynthesizerKeyboard. As mentioned on my ad , the selling price is US$ 1200.00 .Itis a small price for this, but I need to sell it real quick since thedoctors recently discovered that I have diabetes and I need money forthe treatment ( like many of us, I am unemployed) . I recently movedto Hibing, Minnesota looking for work and I listed this on craiglistsince I tried here to sell it with no luck. If you want to buy it , Iwill pay all delivery fees and we can do this by a very secure methodfor both . We can use eBay for this ( they will secure thistransaction by using one of their lawyers to receive your payment andhold it until you receive the item from me and inspect it ) . If youwant to know more about this, just let me know.
Members toddADSR
There was a legit one in LA for $1500 a few weeks ago. I talked to the owner on the phone, but he didn't want to ship it.
Members TechEverlasting
We can use eBay for this ( they will secure thistransaction by using one of their lawyers to receive your payment andhold it until you receive the item from me and inspect it ) So you're saying you don't trust ebay's lawyers??!!! I'm sorry to hear these scumbags have gotten hip to the allure of the Andromeda. This is a disturbingly well written "script". Often there are tell-tale West Africanisms in these emails, such as leaving out the personal pronoun in sentences ("Am a petroleum engineer working in Nigeria...") and constantly using the term "Item". Just in case anyone reading is new to this, Craigslist is only for local, cash and carry transactions, ebay doesn't run an escrow service or have "transaction managing" lawyers, and any transaction involving Western Union or Moneygram is a scam. Members wwwjd
DANG IT! I already dropped my credit card in an envelope and mailed it to him. I had to scam somebody else to get some for him.
