Members alex1fly
I'm looking to pick up a portable keyboard that does a variety of good organ sounds and has drawbars. It has been tricky to nail down which keyboards have drawbars and are under $1000, but I've found three that fit. They are:Roland VR-09Casio WK-7600Casio MZ-X300 Does anybody know of others? Drawbars are a must. So far I'm ignoring the possibility of an authentic used organ like a Hammond because they tend to be very heavy and I can't handle much above 30 lbs. If this is a mistake please let me know! Thanks in advance, Alex
Moderators daddymack Posted December 30, 2016 Moderators Share Posted December 30, 2016 New...you've hit the likely suspects...used, though you might find a Crumar MOJO...easily half the weight of a Hammond, at about a grand...but for about $1100...look at the NUMA
Members pinkfloydcramer61
If used is acceptable, you should be able to get a Hammond-Suzuki XK1 for that price range. Their newer XK1c or SK1 may go for a grand also used, although most sellers would ask more. Korg CX3'sv are getting harder to come by but they will work too.
