• Kronos available in Europe already?

Someone shared with me (via a post read on the Korg Forum) that the Kronos is shipping in Europe already. Can anyone confirm this?

Perhaps this means we here in the US can expect Kronos to hit stores sooner that originally announced?

    :idk:

Where did he read this on the Korg forum? I've seen that some people in Europe have been able to see it demo'd first hand in some stores, but I didn't see where they are shipping it already.

That's what I figured. I'll have to do some more checking.

No. The Kronos is not shipping anywhere yet, still a few months away.

There has been a European demo tour where some people have had a chance to play with prototype Kronos keyboards.

          Prototype? It's not finished yet?

The American Musical Supply website says it will be ready to ship a week from now.

They are the ONLY place that says that. Misprint, perhaps?

Online retailers NEVER have misprints. For example, if you look up the Kronos 88 on Sweetwater's site (http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Kronos88), it recommends the EXB-RADIAS and EXB-FW as recommended accessories! I'm positive they'll work with the KRONOS.
Response from John from American Musical Supply on why I have received 2 used/damaged Korg M3's and 1 reboxed M3 from Guitar Center (a.k.a. while I'll never buy from AMS again):

Footfall wrote:

What you're experiencing with these units is the result of our warehouse crew intentionally "overpacking" this product.

Current Korg Gear: KRONOS 88 (4GB), M50-73 (PS mod), RADIAS-73, Electribe MX, Triton Pro (MOSS, SCSI, CF, 64MB RAM), DVP-1, MEX-8000, MR-1, KAOSSilator, nanoKey, nanoKontrol, nanoPAD 2

Everyone should hurry and pre-order from American Music Supply today since they'll have it two months before everyone else!
