Members pizzafilms
Hey there, I'm looking for an 88 key controller to augment my Novation SLMk 2 that I use for synth/B3 use with Mainstage. This would be used mainly for piano kinds of stuff where a weighted keyboard makes a difference. Here's what I'm looking for:- 88 reasonably weighted keys- Lightweight and very portable- USB MIDI- USB bus powered instead of a power supply- No need for zones or memories, I'm doing all that with Mainstage- Mod wheel- Inexpensive...under $1000 and hopefully way under From my research, nothing seems to fit the bill exactly. I've used the M-Audio Keystation 88es and Pro Sono 88, and they'd be perfect, except that M-Audio doesn't seem to understand that the black keys shouldn't respond louder than the white keys. Any suggestions? Thanks! PS - Yes, I cross-posted this on the Keyboard magazine forum...sorry...
Members sprinklerhead
Check this thread that I posted a few days ago and good luck. I hadn't realized how slim the pickings were for a good midi controller under $1K. http://acapella.harmony-central.com/showthread.php?2752295-I-m-looking-for-a-new-midi-controller
