Members RaoulDuke Posted March 10, 2011 Members Share Posted March 10, 2011 I'm just getting into using softsynths in Sonar 8.5, controlling them with my keyboard via USB MIDI. I can make the MIDI tracks but how do I make them audio so they can be mixed down? I know this is MIDI 101 stuff but I've been researching for a couple weeks and playing around with it and have actually learned a lot, but this one thing I'm having trouble with. Members ElectricPuppy Posted March 10, 2011 Members Share Posted March 10, 2011 You need to set the output on the MIDI track to either a softsynth that you've got on another track, or it needs to be output to some outboard MIDI gear.
