Phil O'Keefe
Want a four (or five) octave keyboard controller that won't break the bank? Then be sure to check out my review of the Nektar GX49 MIDI controller keyboard. If anyone has any questions, ask away and I'll do my best to answer. Members cruciatus
Hey Phil... Would this be a decent solution for some live "piano" playing out of an iPhone for live playing? We have a smaller satellite church where quick setup and tear down is essential...and for the price of the app, a cable, and 100 bucks you'd be good...thoughts? I think it would be very well suited to that. It's definitely a lot more portable (and considerably lighter) than a full-sized 88 key keyboard, especially one with weighted-action, but with four (or five) octaves of full-sized keys, it remains very playable.
