Members cowby
Hi, Other than the main-output, what is the purpose of those out-1 out-2 out-3 out-N of a synth/samplers ... I only use main R/L to connect to the audio interface. Is it mainly for routing the RAW sound (with out internal effect processing) to external effect modules? Members Purity_Control
Probably there will be options as to which patches/voices/programs/keyboard splits you can route to the different outputs and whether or not they are pre or post effects processing. it's handy if you want to use offboard effects as otherwise you'd end up with the same ones on every sound, whereas this way you could have perhaps an overdrive on the bass that's coming from output 1, a phaser on a string pad that's coming from output 2 etc, also if you want to record more than one audio track at the same time and still have them as separate tracks for further editing. Members DJ RAZZ
Great for drums and sequencing. You can even assign voices sometimes.
