Members AndyRo
I've been having trouble with my keyboard (Roland RD-300sx). When I plug the damper pedal (DP-10) into the damper input it no longer dampers/sustains the sound, rather it controls the volume. When the pedal is depressed sound comes out at a higher volume and is sustained, when the pedal is not depressed, little to no sound comes out. So it seems like the pedal is controlling the volume more than sustaining. I read through the manual and can't seem to find what the problem is. The damper's settings can only change the polarity, which isn't my issue (and didn't help). I plugged the pedal into another, simpler keyboard and it functions properly. I performed a factory reset and it is still doing this. Any thoughts?
Members wesg
Take your DP10 out of the jack labelled "Control" and plug it into the jack next to it, labelled "Damper" Wes
