Members intercorni
Wow:PPG Wavegenerator is a next generation iOS based synth from Wolfgang Palm, the inventor of the classic PPG Wave; from one of history's great synths comes a future classic.https://www.facebook.com/PPGWavegenerator?ref=ts

Members zoink
This looks like a LOT of fun. I've been looking around for any mention of a release date, but nothing yet.
Members mate_stubb
I am so there the instant it is released. Alchemy and AniMoog will have a new pal.
Members donaldcrunk
as am i, been following the facegroup for a bit now. hopefully this will prove useful as an instrument, certainly it will be beastly with the synthstation 49 that akai is finally releasing
Members Casio Man
Looks good, and sounds like iPad purchase. It could save a thumbnail as the patches name in the case of those pictures turned into sound. Although then I might not have the nerve to check how my dick sounds. Of course, playing with really narrowly filtered drone sound with minimally snappy envelope for hastily playing repetitive arpeggios could be depressing anyway. Members Crazyfoo
A little OT, but does anyone know how often a real PPG Wave comes available on EBay?I check almost weekly and have never seen one get listed. Are they that hard to find? Also, how much you think it would cost? Thanks you.

Members ChristianRock
So this has nothing at all to do with the Waldorf PPG Wave 3.v?
Members donaldcrunk
no, i believe that is an altogether seperate product.
Members donaldcrunk
much like Animoog, this synth will allow dynamic control via the 'touchplate keyboard', scrolling through wavetables with gestures etc. pretty cool. i'm just afraid that the built in headphone output of the ipad will not do this thing the justice it deserves
Members mate_stubb
iPad has surprisingly good sound when you plug the hp output into something good, even better sound from the iDock.

Members Gribs
This sucks because I have an iPad version 1 with no camera :'( I confess I bought the synth before I learned it can turn a picture into a wave table. I thought it was easily worth the 20 bucks.
