Members NoirAbattoir
My wife is just starting to learn to play the piano. It's not easy for her to transpose chords to accommodate my limited vocal range. Is there a feature on most keyboards to set the tone to flat or up a half step? You know, kinda like using a capo on a guitar so she doesn't have to adjust her chords on the keyboard? She uses a Casio WK-500. Thanks in advance. Members evildragon
Yeah, about 99.99% of keyboards will do that.

Members plaid_emu
It's usually a global setting on most keyboards. Which means you have to dive into the menus with buttons and change it each time. Kind of a pain but doable. Or she can start learning on one of these: http://www.c-thru-music.com/cgi/?page=home One of the easiest ways to transpose without having to learn new chords/scales each time. Members chevybusa
Yes, pretty much every board can do that...for your wife's particular board, check page E-15 of this: http://support.casio.com/pdf/008/WK200_500_e.pdf

Good job, Casio! Some take at least 40+ seconds of fiddling around in menus to change it. Way too long for adjusting on-the-fly during a performance or even switching between songs.
