I retired as a keyboardist a year or so ago. What's new in synths?

In stock, with shipping to the US. Maybe there is a US dealer, I don't know.
Thanks, Michael. I came across the Thomann site, but was hoping there might be a US dealer for them. Analog Haven doesn't even list the Dominion, even though they carry other MFB products.

I wish there were more retailers in the US that carried synths made by smaller companies. I guess I should be glad that Austin at least has its own synth boutique:

I saw one of the MX49's on Friday at Guitar Center, but was too busy to try it out. Looks like a good little board.
I might have to go back there this week to pick up some stuff I have ordered. If I get the chance, I'll try it out.
I already know I like Yamaha's sounds, so the converters, editing capabilities, and interface will be the things to check.
Build quality looked acceptable for the price - $599. for the 49 key.

I tried the MX49 twice in a shop in Copenhagen. Sadly it didn't impress me. The first time it was connected to some small monitors, the second time I used headphones. It didn't live up to what I expected from a Motif XS "sound engine" but had a more "toy-ish" sound. Also the keys were of a very cheap kind. I already own a MoX8 but I had the idea that an MX61 would be attractive to use for rehearsals and such (because of weight and size).
