Any other recommendations for drum machines? even though iMPC is on offer i'd hold off it for the moment as it has no song mode (same boat as iElectribes from Korg) also the metronome volume is non-adjustable..i like the sampling capability in iMPC and i'm sure it'll be usable soon, also no audio copy function in iMPC which make using it in conjunction with other apps difficult. iMPC has great potential if Akai decide to complete the app and make it more useable in real music making and not a simple app like it is currently.for now i'd say DM1 is pretty amazing ( you can load your own samples btw into DM1) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Members donaldcrunk Posted January 3, 2013 Members Share Posted January 3, 2013 apparently MIDI sync is going to make it into the next update! that is huge, that will really make it one of the best rhythm devices ever. just exporting 4 and 8 bar loops into DAW doesnt fit my rather spastic workflow very well.
