Kurzweil had the SP5 leaked in Poland. Now this one from Yamaha is out in France before everybody else.

I think the main info on the Krome was formally release before the sun raised in the States @ GMT or pre GMT Japan time. Apart from any leaks the live US demo was spoiled a tad by some folk being rude on the live feedback, so our friend if he was also under the weather was unable to continue to any positive affect...

Seems like a winner to me. Lets not forget that we speak about the entry level keyboard aimed a hobby musicians. So, it will definitively lack come of the pro features. But if you take 166Mb of waves with 128 poly, and a couple of knobs, it does not get better than that. Neither Juno Di nor Korg PS60 (or X50) come close to those specs, at best they are half way down.

I agree. Seems pretty good for what it is, and who its target market is. I still would like to see those specs in a rack unit though.

Reading the feedback left on the comments section reminds me of the Jupiter 80 frenzy

It looks like the word ''Jupiter'' has been replace by the word ''Synth'' in the list of items to get offended by, if your that way inclined that is...

You can't call that a Synth... LOL

Dear, some folk need to chill... It's just a bundle of fun Synth...

            3.8kg for 49 keys MX49

            juno di's advantage , batteries

            PS60, smaller dimension than MX61

            Microstation, mini keys

MX - proper display, competitive price

                          it's the same XS engine

                          8 elements per voice

                          performance mode ONLY 2 voice

                          this i don't quite understand

"Each Performance contains not only the three sounds described above, but all the settings for a complete 16-Part Multi setting for play. You can switch between any of the 16 Parts without the sound cutting off. "

supports WAVE playback via usb stick

supports audio input via stereo 1/8" input

                          Very large photo of MX49

To add more to confusion, the German guy in the video above says at 2:20 that performances are made of up to 4 voices, demonstrating it with some dance pad, bass, rhythm and... I catch nothing else. He uses three parts and arpregiator.
