Members Meatball Fulton Posted September 3, 2015 Members Share Posted September 3, 2015 ROM does need battery backup, it is non volatile. Easiest way to move patches between the TX and your computer is to get a patch editor. Then as long as the MIDI IN and OUT are connected to the Saffire MIDI jacks (IN goes to OUT, OUT goes to IN) the editor should be able to communicate with the TX. DX Manager will run on Windows but not Mac and is $20. You can try it for free for 30 days to see if it works for you. You can google around for other (free) editors.
