Very full tone during sustain, and not tinny at all. It actually sits in a mix better than a lot of more realistic pianos I use for solo work. Yamaha got so many complaints from users, they offered the patch as part of their "XSpand Your World" free package for the XS, it's also available in the "Inspiration in a Flash" free package for the XF.
