My main rig is way to big/heavy to travel often so I am looking for a small 25 key synth that can travel with me. Ideally.. 25 Full size keysActual synth not a midi controllerSemi-weighted ideally but synth weighted is okay.Headphone jackUsed or new is fine as long as its reliable. Low cost ideally.I looked at the Novation Bass Station and Arturia MiniBrute but I am wondering if there are any other options out there I am missing? Members Karma1 Posted August 28, 2015 Members Share Posted August 28, 2015 Although the Korg Micro X from a few years ago is no longer in production, you might find a used one on ebay, Craig's List, etc. Note, this is not the microKorg - that is totally different. I have a Micro X and it is amazing. The best thing is that its got the Triton sound engine in it, with all the sounds of a full size Triton, and then some. Its also got built-in effects, dual arpeggiators, full size keys, headphone jack,and more. They were around $650 new, so a used one would probably be around half of that.
