I'm fairly new to softsyths/samplers and my initial reaction is "F_CK THAT!!!!". I'm currently in a mind-set that says "I will NEVER buy anything that requires I-Lok". Am I misguided? Members donaldcrunk Posted March 29, 2013 Members Share Posted March 29, 2013 no. do not buy a software that requires I-LOK. there is no reason to. anything you wish to accomplish can be accomplished with software/hardware that does not require ILOK, many times just with the default VSTs/AUs your DAW comes with. don't waste a USB port, and don't encourage this irritating practice. what are you looking to accomplish exactly?
