Roland SP-808 help!

Hello all,

I've been a devout Roland SP-808 user for years, since it came out. I own 3 of them. What I love about it is the d-beam to control effects (like long dub delays) and pitch. However, I am sick of the zip discs, the inconvenience of file management, and the cumbersome backup via scsi, and the size of the unit. What is a good sampler to replace it with, that I can use a d-beam type thing to control effects?

PS I tried the SP-505 and although it had some cool features, it could NOT use the d-beam to control the effects like the SP-808. Any help would be appreciated.

Any brand of a product is fine with me, but I am hoping to get something smaller that I can do computer based file management and backup.
