Members keybdwizrd
Nothing exciting here - just a couple of gig bags for my J-50 and MOX6. I hope to be doing some jamming with some folks and/or joining a band if I can find the right circumstances. If I end up playing a lot I will invest in hard cases, but in the interim these should work.

Members ElectricPuppy
I got the dedicated stand for my SV-1, finally. It's been on backorder since before Christmas. Actually, technically, it's a rather belated Christmas gift from teh wife.

Members Gribs
I bought a mint MnM mkII SF60+ used (with the box, manual, etc) from a local guy for a good price: I am now an official Elektron junkie as I have a quadruple. It is almost overkill as four Elektron boxes going at once can make extreme cacophony if you are not careful, but I love these boxes. Sitting on the couch after the little kids have gone to bed with headphones plugged into any one of their current offerings is a great way for me to relax sans computer. However, the real big news in terms of "gear" for me is that we hired a contractor and are in the middle of a basement finishing project. There is a new 23' x 13' (internal dimensions) space for my home studio and office/gaming/multi-media center. Basically the entire thing is a giant "man cave". I had two separate circuits put in with 4-way outlets for plugging stuff in, recessed lighting (no florescents), a large closet for guitars in cases, etc. My extremely awesome wife has been pushing me to do this for a long time, and we pulled the trigger on a 5 year home improvement loan (actually taken from my 401k so the payments + interest gets paid back to me and made via automatic payroll deductions). I was just looking at acoustic treatment options - need to do some research. My 14 year old son will get my current office/studio as his own bedroom. This particular contractor has done real studios with floating floors etc., but we are not doing that. We picked him based on two recommendations from guys at work. The painters are spraying polyurethane on the trim today. I will post pics when it is done. ... the problem with this is that I am having serious fears that wife is planning to hijack the new space. She is already talking about microfiber couches, a big flat screen, and how she is going to be down there to watch movies (she is a movie buff). I think the solution is that it will be the "date night" spot where we can watch movies without teen-boy bugging us.
Members ChristianRock
I bought this for guitar but I can see that it would work VERY well with synths. However, cavit emptor: the original chinese tube that came with it made it unusable. Seriously, the pedal sounded like a fart when engaged. A very bassy fart with empty mids and shrill highs. I would have returned it if I hadn't swapped it for a NOS JAN Phillips 12ax7 that I just happened to have laying around. I'm sure it would work well with a decent new tube, like a JJ or Electro-Harmonix. But having to change a tube just to get useful sounds out of something was not my idea when I bought it. Especially when it's so hard to mod it - I got three little electric shocks from its metal case as I had to move wires around to get to its innards. The pedal is not unnecessarily big - it does have a ton of stuff inside. It's a proper tube preamp, I wish it came with a proper tube. Apparently the early ones had good tubes in them and Ibanez is just cutting costs now... Having said that, now that it has a decent tube, it's the best overdrive pedal I've ever heard or played in my entire life. And I've played some nice stuff. This pedal through my Fender combo (that I also had to retube) is making me consider selling my Mesa Boogie combo. It puts its overdrive/distortion to shame and now I can't seem to get a bad sound out of it. Notes just sing! Kudos to high voltage tubes.
Members Acid Hazard
Just picked up an A4 today off of Craigslist. Picked it up at 5:30 pm and used it right off a few hours later in a gig :robotvery-happy: You can view the video here: http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/31284003 I used the A4, Octatrack and TT-303. Members Pilot
Just got a second tier for my Apex stand. Got fed up with having the Axiom sideways on to the Kronos and there was no way of tucking it underneath. It was broken when I unpacked it but I made a new part which is about 100 times stronger than the old one!

Members Gribs
Here are some pictures of my "April New Gear". This room is my new "Man Cave" and will have all of my music-making stuff in it. I wrote the final check yesterday and I just installed the custom (Hunter-Douglas Duette) shades this AM. I have not quite figured out how to arrage it other than there will be a computer desk in one corner and my TV and console-based gaming gear on the central wall between the main doors and the closet (the closet is not shown). The floor is a commercial grade laminate tile. It is probably not a good choice for a music studio, so there I will have to add throw rugs and other sound treatment as I go along. Including the stairwell, landing, and main room we finished about 400 square feet of space.
