Members pogo97
I'd love something like this and the price seems fair for what it does. Anybody out there actually use one?
Members koolkat
I own The Plugiator which is pretty much the same sound component as the Ferrofish (software), without the drawbars and possibly one or two other things. It's really not a stellar B3 emulation, TBH. The percussion isn't very convincing and the Leslie is downright terrible. I have ran it through a GSI Burn Leslie Sim and that really did kick it up a notch as far as the Leslie was concerned. The percussion is still a bit disappointing, but if you prefer to play without the percussion I suppose it it's useful in its' own right, but still lacks a lot of grit. YMMV, of course. Members delaware dave
I considered it until I heard it. I passed as I knew I wouldn't be satisfied andbI'd just be wasting money. A Voce unit and a Vent/Burn pairing will blow it away for only a couple hundred dollars more.
Members pinkfloydcramer61
For B3 there are several modules that will get you there IMO. Nord Electro II rack, Roland VK8m, Voce V5/V3 (like Delaware said those require a Leslie SIM) and lastly an EMU B3 module will give you a big, meaty, ballsy, take-no-prisoners B3 sound. And it's sampled chorus/ vibrato is more usable and convincing than that that of most clones IMO. Ditto for its Leslie effect, in the mix it's very useable and ballsy.
