Members mmauri
Hello. I am a composer and producer. I have been producing rock stuff only so far, but now I am involved in producing a new pop/dance project (in the style of K. Perry and the likes...) and I am looking for a synth with the right set of sounds.I am not interested in spending time in programming my own sounds, so I would mainly use presets which I would tweak a bit.Can you suggest me a synth to this purpose? My current gear, used in rock productions, is : Fender Rhodes MKII, Hammond M100, Clavia Nord Piano, Access Virus Indigo. Thanks! Members SoundwaveLove
If you're not interested in spending any time programming I don't see why you'd need anything other than the virus indigo. It's got lots of presents. Maybe something like Massive or absynth has better presets and more of them.
Members mmauri
yes , the indigo is a killer, but , since it's a bit aged, i was wondering whether there is something new tasting different on the market...but if you say my indigo is enough, well, lucky me! Members Tullsterx
I would think you might want to look into some softsynths like Reaktor or Omnisphere or something.
Members tim gueguen
Yeah, those kind of productions are done largely or entirely "in the box" using a bunch of softsynths and samples.
