Members AJP
Looking for the 2nd-tier meat and potato sorta synth. What I would never, ever use is all of its backing track/playlist functionality... what I (at least tentatively) like about it is that it appears to be, in effect, a SonicCell module in a 61-key form factor. Limited on the synth editing and user memory (100 registrations?) but I honestly think I could live with that. GASsed for the VR-09 for a bit, but got my organs covered with the Motif XS's B's Knees library. Plus it has nowhere near the synth sound collection. Thoughts? Experiences? Musings? Members Etienne Rambert
Agreed. Since OP is not wanting auto-accompaniment, why pay more for a GW8? Juno DI and GI are cheaper and seem to be more like what he is looking for. BTW, I own a Sonic Cell. Love it. But I don't think it has much in common with a GW8. it's more like a Juno GI. Members Gumimaci
Beware of GW8! It's a nice sounding live board, but it's effect section does not work in sequencer mode.
