Is New Leaf the song you want us to hear? If so, nice fat lead.

      • Suzy Wong is All Right

I've been in Vietnam a year next month. I finally bought a synth last month. It was an old JV-30. I had been trying to compose on the *acoustic guitar for ten months. The selection of used synths here is lousy. It's a very poor country.

I'm flying back to the States next month though. I'll bring back my Le76. That will dazzle the Saigonese.

They make some *fabulous hand-made acoustic guitars here though folks.

Hey, cool - nice little ditty. Did you really watch The World of Suzie Wong on TV in Vietnam?

Have fun wowing them with your Triton. BTW, I'd love to get over there some day. I keep seeing photos of those stunningly beautiful beaches.

            Hi.

Yeah. The beaches are nice. But Saigon, city I love, is becoming unliveable. The traffic, the pollution.

I'll come back to the States for a couple of weeks in Oct/Nov. Then I'll be back home, somewhere in Saigon.

Yeah. I really saw "World of Suzie Wong" on Cinemax here in Saigon. I've seen it 3 or 4 times now in a year.

Cinemax Asia runs the movie every couple of months or so. It's showing again next week.

The film is really timeless because it was shot on location, in Hong Kong, before HK became a huge, gleaming center of capitalism for Asia.

HK once was kind of a shabby, romantic city back in the 1950's, apparently. William Holden, Nancy Kwan, George Dunning's score are all fantastic in the movie. But if you ask me, old Hong Kong is the real star of the film. It's a place and time that have vanished forever.

                • I got some tracks up at www.myspace.com/pintomusic. The last two tracks on there ("Diapason" & "Ghetto Rock For Bollywood") involve some keyboard action.

Nice! I for one, like FL. One on these days I'll reload it and start using it again. (I'm in my module phase right now.) And I've heard many great things done with Reason, although I've never used it.

                      Keep up the good work.
