Anything wrong with using Eventide for keyboard effects?

I own the following: Korg Kronos, Alesis Ion, Yamaha ROMpler, Akai Synthstation (for use with iPad apps from Moog, Arturia, DX-7, Oberheim), and the Moog Minitaur (used with the Roland PK-5a).

I also have an iMac and Macbook Pro.

I need an effects processor and will use my tax refund to purchase. I know there's Boss, TC Electronics, and Lexicon. But, what about using Eventide? Anything wrong with using it with the synths other than the Korg? Thanks for your feedback!

I have an Eventide Pitchfactor that I bought to use for guitar, but I occasionally use it for keyboards as well. Its a stompbox style unit that sells for about $500. I really like it. But if you can afford an Eventide Eclipse, that is a much fuller featured rack mount unit. A friend of mine has one and it sounds amazing. Another option is the Eventide H9, which is also a stompbox, but is kind of like a "best of" the Eventide effects and is less expensive than the Eclipse. A lot of people are using these for various instruments in the studio.
