Members j3yps
Hi, just wondering if this setup is possible: Roland TD9K2 Midi-Out --- Roland RD700NX Midi In --- Roland RD700NX Midi Out --- M-Audio PrjectMix I/O Midi In The idea for this routing is to be able to record some stuff in Logic VIA these connections, is this possible? Thanks
Members Mmmmqac
It is all up to whether the RD700NX can merge its local keyboard activity with the activity received via its MIDI in, and then route that combination to its MIDI out. All I can say is just try it and see if it works... nothing is going to blow up. I am going to take a punt here and guess that you are using the RD700NX as a "drum brain" while you are recording the drum performance MIDI on Logic. If that is the case, do not use the RD700NX Midi Out, but instead use the Thru.
