Members OPEN OCEAN Posted August 28, 2014 Members Share Posted August 28, 2014 Sdisk is a conversion utility for old samplers such as the Roland S50/s550.I have downloaded every disk image i have found over the net for these "old but gold" beasts, but now i cant make the sdisk work for me either in dos mode or in windows, also the win version called "SDISKW17" doesnt seem to work i always get a "Disk load error" message from the Roland S550 for disks that i have used with Sdisk. Furthermore in pure dos mode using the original Sdisk softwatre i get the error message "Can not read Sdisk.out". Any ideas ? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Members Paolo Di Nicolantonio Posted September 1, 2014 Members Share Posted September 1, 2014 Panos, with S-Disk I use a dedicated old computer with older DOS-based Win OS (Windows 98 SE) and it works up until that OS. IIRC, I tried XP and it didn't work, but I haven't used in a while - however I think there's a newer version that supports newer OS ? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
