Members Chummy
Okay so meanwhile I dropped the idea of getting an iPad (too expensive). I would, however, like to record the vr-09 INTERNAL sounds with the effects and everything into Cubase as MIDI data (not audio). Feasible? So far little progress made, I created a midi track in Cubase, recorded JP8 Brass for example and set it to channel 4. Now, whenever I change patch in the keyboard the recorded track's patch changes as well. Thing is I'd like several of them tracks on different channels. I don't know which settings to tweak in the keyboard. I know it's in MENU> MIDI somewhere but yeah other than that no. That's killing me I can't just use internal sounds as "VSTs". When I tried to record in Audio track data just to see what happens I get only a left track of the stereo. Maybe it's bc I have only one cable and not stereo cable? I always see people connect their keyboards with R and L in the rear inputs. Is there such cable that splits 2 PL from one side into 1 PL from the other side? or... Which cable would I need? thnx guys in advance

Members kbeaumont
You can put a recorded mono sound on both L&R in Cubase http://www.ehow.com/how_8121387_pan-cubase-5.html
Members Etienne Rambert
I own Cubase 5.0. I don't use it. I think its MIDI implementation is poor. That's the reason I stopped using it - that and the stupid dongle. So sorry I can't be of any help.
