  • Identify these sounds please?

There's this virtual instrument sound that I really want to use, but I don't know what it is and how to get a sample of it.

The best example of the sound I could find was in this piece of music

could anyone identify the sound that plays the melody at 0:52?

Sound like a composite. Flute, DX Rhodes, Moog, Marimba etc. You'd do well to try and develop it yourself.

It sounds like a typical "synthesized" flute in monophonic mode, with portamento

There may be two oscillators an octave apart, as well, giving it that "vintage" Keith Emerson sound.
