Members Junior Marbles Posted April 14, 2014 Members Share Posted April 14, 2014 I recently saw Wayne Horwitz in Portland, Oregon, where he played a very small (2-3 octave) synth placed on top of his Nord. Does anyone know what brand and model this might be? He used it for solos, and it sounded otherworldly, with a nasty distortion element, but I liked it.Thanks, JMP.S.: I tried contacting Wayne, but cannot find an official website to reach him. Members RockPianoman Posted April 15, 2014 Members Share Posted April 15, 2014 That's not a DX-100 in the photo.....DX-100's are actually dark brown and almost look black and there is a guitar strap button on the left & right ends that let you wear them like a guitar (I still have a DX-100)....I've had my DX-100 since 1986 I think the bottom board is a Yamaha S90ES I can't see the top board well enough to identify it.....it looks like it has mini keys similar to the DX-100 but there have been a lot of boards with mini keys....
