New instrument company Praxis Guitars has began sales of it's first public model, the Praxis Zero 2015 mkII. The Praxis Zero is an open source modular electric guitar framework. The core of the guitar is an aluminum frame. When combined with a compatible neck and hardware, a complete instrument is created. Components are attached to the frame to create a playable guitar of virtually any body type imaginable. Utilizing different components for the guitar can drastically change the sound, look, and feel of the guitar. The Praxis Zero mk2, pictured directly below, is now currently available for purchase.
