CAR SOUND SYSTEM AS AN AMP

Depends on the system. I've done it before. I've even seen systems that have an aux input where you can plug in external audio devices. You'd likely need a preamp because its a line level in and a guitar needs a higher gain input. It would sound like crap in any case because guitars aren't designed to play through High Fidelity gear. Too much bass and high end. Best you may get is to have it sound like an acoustic guitar.

To be quite honest, you'd be better off just using a cigarette amp. http://www.smokeyamps.com/products/smokey-amps/polycarbonate-smokey-amp/?gclid=CKmb59SWisICFQcpaQodZQQArQ They are loud enough to drive a guitar cab too if your head ever breaks down.

You can use a new product that I just came out with. It is called the Ai1. It is an acoustic DI with preamp that also allows you to plug into a home stereo, aux input on a car stereo and at the same time play an MP3 or CD by connecting to the stereo line in. Very cool product.

Check it out at http://www.gmfamps.com

We are running a Kickstarter on this product currently also.
