Members geetarLAXjunkie
Replacing a few parts on my Epiphone Joe Pass, and loosely basing mods off an L5. I've upgraded PUPs to Gibson 57 classics to match an L5, but am stumped on tailpiece options. Anyone out there have suggestions on where to find L5 tailpiece replacements? Members WRGKMC
The tailpiece on the epi is very similar to the L5. Have you thought about a Frequensator? I used to have one on my 60's EPI Riviera. It really does change the feel of the strings making the bottom strings stiffer and the upper strings easier to bend. Wouldn't be any major mod since you already use a tailpiece.
