    hi all

    is it easy to replace it ?...any help would be great and btw are there any symptoms to show you need to do that ?....

    opened the poly and removed a battery from the cpu board - it writes cpu board KLM -475B - THE BATTERY IS A BLUE ONE from VARTA and has the following written on it

    3/170 DK
    3.6V.
    14 Std. Laden
    mit 17mA

    it looks like a small barrel if you know what i mean....btw the weird is that when i turn it on the sounds play fine...did i make a mistake removing something else ?...please let me know about it since i am complete ignorant of electronics...i removed it ok from the pins and it had some salt like material on it but nothing was done on the mainboard in terms of leakage...the weird is that sounds play fine...

      Hi I have a Poly 800 and you have to unsoider the battery I had a pro do it for $60.00USD You can get a battery and how to do it at www.vintage synth.com.If that wrong email me bacusbob@yahoo.com My poly was all messed up from stage use in the 1980's 90's It fixed it like new
