Similar to that used in the Chet Atkins model. I was able to find a partial schematic but part of it is cut off:[ATTACH=CONFIG]342010[/ATTACH]Also, this will be for an acoustic bass, so any suggestions on modifying for such would be appreciated. Members MahaloVision Posted January 21, 2012 Members Share Posted January 21, 2012 The MIMF preamp could be easily modified and put on a single board. Basically one preamp for each string. IIRC, it has the ability to handle both piezo and magnetic or condenser mic's. If you just need the piezo, then you can cut that part out of the circuit before duplicating it. Members musicdog400 Posted January 21, 2012 Members Share Posted January 21, 2012 When I did mine, I just connected each piezo to a resistor, then tied the resistors together in front of the simple piezo FET circuit.
