  • Need a schematic! Piezo buffer circuit

Anyone out there got some ideas for a piezo circuit with individual volume controls for each saddle? Similar to that used in the Chet Atkins model. I was able to find a partial schematic but part of it is cut off:

Also, this will be for an acoustic bass, so any suggestions on modifying for such would be appreciated.

The MIMF preamp could be easily modified and put on a single board. Basically one preamp for each string. IIRC, it has the ability to handle both piezo and magnetic or condenser mic's. If you just need the piezo, then you can cut that part out of the circuit before duplicating it.

When I did mine, I just connected each piezo to a resistor, then tied the resistors together in front of the simple piezo FET circuit. It works and sounds good.
Breathe in for ten seconds. Breathe out for ten seconds. Repeat for ten minutes.
