Members mistersully Posted March 18, 2009 Members Share Posted March 18, 2009 currently using a tascam 2488.... it's limitations are driving me nuts this is what i'm looking at buying tomorrow 17" macbook pro (the last generation) 2.5GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 4GB (two 2GB SO-DIMMs) of PC2-5300 (667MHz) DDR2 memory 320GB Serial ATA; 5400 rpm hard drive (thinking about an external 7200rpm drive) Logic studio 8 Motu 8pre interface in my business... i need to be able to record a lot of tracks... but it's rare that i record any more than a few at once i know the 8pre is limited in it's outputs.... but i'll add something like an 828 later in your opinion will this rig run smoothly? cheers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
