Phil O'Keefe
http://www.audiomediainternational.c...uisition/06348 Looks like they've wrapped the deal. They'll be keeping all the current Harman headquarters, management and employees, along with all of the current Harman companies.

Phil O'Keefe
I guess that stuff takes time. There was a bunch of Mark Levinson, B&W and JBL in the Samsung booth at CES in January Oh yeah... on an 8 billion dollar deal? It definitely takes a while to finish it all up, even after the deal is agreed to, signed, and the handshakes have happened. Not only did they have to get approval from various US and foreign government regulatory agencies, they also had to run it past the Harman stockholders and get their approval. But it looks like it's all completed now. I was particularly pleased to learn that Samsung isn't planning on ditching any of the current Harman companies, and that they'll be keeping all of the management and staff - I have several friends who work for them, so I'm happy to hear they'll be keeping their jobs.
