  • For those that follow SXSW ...

Gibson just went live with SXSW on micro site with a live feed -

    http://www.gibson.com/Products/Micro...ibsonsxsw.aspx

I've only been once to play with an artist. Loved it.

    Anyone else played or been?

I've been to Austin but never to SXSW.

Odd i guess. I'm a native Texan and I've never been to SXSW. Been to Austin plenty though. The older I get, the less i like crowds though.

I'd love to go, but someone has to pay me at least enough to stay in a decent hotel within walking distance.

I went to the Summer NAMM the two yeas that it was in Austin and I thought it was a pretty nice place. Not as many people crowding the streets then, though, as during SxSW.

          Follow this:
Apparently the band was denied entry into the US because their visas were for performing at SxSW without pay (so it wasn't technically "work"). The interpretation was that publicity from their performance would lead to future work.

Oh, and last night I followed the Gibson live link to see what there was to see. I was going to watch the fashion show and all I saw was a photo. Did it work? Was it supposed to be live coverage?
