My partner in musical crime, Judge Rand Rubin, won 8 hours of recording time at Robby Kreiger's Horse Latitudes recording studio, in a silent charitable auction last year. I ask because I have an old musical pal who is now a municipal judge, and,happily, seems to be making a discreet return to singing and playing (mostly singing, she's got a rich, warm alto). I've been enjoying informal vids of her and her current play mates shot at parties. I love it when people who've taken their shot at the music biz keep their love of music, even after they've moved on to other everyday work. The most notable trials he's had, as far as I know, are the Courtney Love drug trial - http://www.chicagotribune.com/sns-ap-courtney-love-story.html and the Viens trial.
