Just watched "The Agony and Ecstasy of Phil Spector" 2009

It juxtaposes his songs (full length on many) with footage of the trial. And interspersed with (at the time) current interview footage. One interesting piece: he says that although "Good Vibrations" is a great record, it is an edit record, unlike his. Interesting slight. And several times he compares himself to Da Vinci. He feels he was that great. He complains that he's never been made an honorary PhD. and there's never been a stamp with his picture. The guy is out there.

 

Oh, and he complains about Paul tampering with the Let It Be recordings, which I suppose are Let It Be Naked. Funny thing is I used to think the original Let It Be album was the only BAD album the Beatles ever did. But I like the LIB Naked version.

 

Very entertaining.
