Members nat whilk II
Slip Inside This House always was the ultimate psychedelic song for me and my kind, high-schoolers in Houston in the late 60s....

Members UstadKhanAli
Some of the videos I posted yesterday are no longer there, and my posts are blank. I have no idea why. Also, it erases my direct links when I attempt to post. Just know that those were the coolest psych examples of all time and space, and you'll be fine. Members UstadKhanAli
The first one was a YouTube clip by Temples called "Sun Structures", and is the full album. You can search for it if you wish since I can't post either a link or embed the video. The rest, I can't remember what I posted.

Yes, I`ve noticed this site seems to do that a lot with videos. Its very frustrating. Here we are trying to converse and using video to make a point or just share something and the videos get deleted or something in a matter of days. I could understand if this thread were a year old or something but a few days? I`m not going to gripe about this site again…. I don`t think anyone cares anymore. Members onelife
I was listening to this song in an altered state one evening... [video=youtube;Qt-sfNULEzE]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qt-sfNULEzE I was drawn in by the piano and when the heavy synth part came in it literally (or so it seemed) lifted me up and tossed me around the room. There's a lot of things that don't work on this forum. And there were a lot of things that didn't work on the previous incarnation. You can draw your own conclusions from there. Members davd_indigo
I'm going for the low hanging fruit. "I Am the Walrus". Which still excites me after unpteen dozen listens.
Members UstadKhanAli
This is Patty Waters, which is described as "free jazz psychedelic from 1966." You'll describe it as mighty mighty strange and minimal. P.S. I noticed my links came back. I don't know why they disappeared in the first place, but I'm glad they're back now. Members UstadKhanAli
I'm going to follow this up with "low hanging fruit", as David described. Because...why not? It's great! And I did post The Beatles "Rain" on the first page, which is just an awesome song. This is Pink Floyd "Meddle". And what a treat! It's the whole album! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlT6eeeZJok

Members davd_indigo
Peter Green did "The Green Manalishi (With the Two Prong Crown)" right around the end of his time with Fleetwood Mac. To me it's psychedelic in a couple of ways. 1st it's psychedelically autobiographical (can this be a term ?). It's about his madness which seems to have been LSD induced. And second, around 2 min 55 sec there begins what (I'll argue to be) a wall of sound with 2 or 3 - I can't tell - guitar lines, a bass line, and a shrieking vocal line. I'd say it qualifies as psychedelic.
