What the heck do they plan on doing with that behemoth of a room? It's not set up as a recording studio (no control room that I could see) and there's no stage area, although there are production and rehearsal rooms and the ceiling is designed to be rigged for some pretty heavy loads...

Looks more like a movie studio or rehearsal/test site maybe for Broadway spectaculars, Cirque, etc. I think it's a secret S.H.I.E.L.D. operation myself. You could set up a helluva laser tag maze in there, that's what I would do with it.

I think it's where they build out the stage area itself so they can then build out the rest of the stage show in terms of blocking and assembly.

 

At least, that's the impression I got from it.
