Members BG76
I just got one. I have a pair of the limited edition 1176 Blue Stripes and I bought one of these. It sounds different then the Blue Stripe but sounds great. Considering it's got the Cinemag and it's about the same money as the kit it's a no brainer. I love it. Members WRGKMC
They don't list a price so I'd be curious who much it is. Compressors are not high tech devices and the absolutely insane prices for some of the vintage stuff is ridiculous. The components that comprise the UREI for example may be a couple of hundred bucks tops, yet they sellfor thousands. I suppose there are enough stupid people to drive those prices up and keep them there. For the prices some of them go for you could make the chassis out of solid gold and it still wouldn't come close to the selling costs. Members UstadKhanAli
It's $599. That's why it's a Poor Man's 1176. http://www.zenproaudio.com/warm-audio-wa76.aspx

Members UstadKhanAli
And he seems to love it, along with a lot of the people from GearSlutz. I think just about anybody can get on board with a piece of gear that sounds good....for a really cheap price!
Phil O'Keefe
At about a third of the price of a new 1176LN, it's bound to get quite a bit of interest, and if it sounds as good as people are saying, quite a few sales as well I would think.
