Members AmpliFuzz
I've been progressively paring down my rig to a "real" head + cab for rock-ish stuff and a laptop for the more avant-garde things (looping etc). I'd like to cop that Adrenalinn feel, only using software. I'm pretty aware of the software modelers to handle the virtual amp part, but I'm at a loss when it comes to the beat synched filter + fx + sequences. The drum machine part isn't important. There are too many choices, most of them impractical. Any tips/real world success stories? Thanks,AF
Members Kiwiburger
Any DAW like Cubase SX will get you there. There are plugins that basically do this for you - e.g. www.camelaudio.com CamelSpace. Or, chose your best sounding filter plugin and automate it. Pplaying loops or midi sequences is what DAW's do anyway.
Members Anderton
Guitar Rig 2 has an analog step sequencer. I think they did it partly to get me to shut up, it's something I've really wanted in GR. The Adrenalinn is more than a sequenced filter, though, there are also envelope effects and interesting stereo tricks. It's a rather unique little box, I really dig it. Members Counterpoint
I don't know why you wouldn't just use an Adrenalinn. It's not that expensive.

Members bigolpimp
Wait a second, didn't Craig Anderton work with Roger Linn on the ADII?
Members Anderton
I helped write the manual for the original version. I also did a sample CD for M-Audio's ProSessions series that's all AdrenaLinn sounds. I did it originally so Dr. Walker over in Germany could have my "grooves" when I wasn't available for gigs
