You Just Won $10K in the Lottery! What Music Gear Would You Buy?
I don't have any high quality recording gear and at the same time I'm sort of happy with what I do have.
What I'm also happy with is the way my family supports what I do so the prize would be a nice family holiday. The rest of the money would go to finding a few experts in the field to pay them to teach me a thing or two of their trade craft.
Then I probably would make the stuff I already own sound even better and as I like learning and developing I'm sure I'd be a happier person to boot.

BT King - all my backing tracks can be found at :
Originally posted by Anderton I'd buy some real nice mics, bigger LCD monitors, better soundproofing, that cool Synthaxe studio furniture, and some high-end Adam speakers. And an OASYS if there was another $10K thrown in, to replace my Z1...
OK... OK... ALL I won was $10K?!?
What kind of a crappy era-of-limits lottery win is that?
Most folks wouldn't even quit their job at Walmart behind something like that...
As long as we're being HYPOTHETICAL, why can't I win some BIG money?
I think if it were $20,000, I would have a soundproof room addition added on to the back of the house. The stuff I own is already good. It can always be better, but at least it's already good. But a room...now that would be awesome.
