Members dkleiner
I am very happy with my AKG 240 headphones, but I often step on the cord and have therefore, loosened the jack to the point of replacement. I can't stand it! Has anyone used wireless headphones in the studio? What kind? Are there any drawbacks? Sound quality? Thank you. Dan
Members M-1 Fan
I have a set of Sony wireless headphones and they suck for recording. Too much ambient noise. They might be OK for doing housework and listening to music, but for recording....

Members seclusion
Yes I believe we've all snagged the cord on a guitar, drum, what have ya. Would be a great idea that someone create a high sound quality wireless receiver and base that we all could incorperate our favorite headphones and some solder. I'd pay $200 or so for that! Moderators MrKnobs Posted January 6, 2007 Moderators Share Posted January 6, 2007 I have more Shure wireless sets than I really need. I sometimes use them in the studio. I have one keyboardist I often use who is a chain smoker. He charges by the hour but much of the hour he's out on the deck smoking. Now I set him up with the IEM's so he can at least be listening to his last take while he's puffing his life away. Terry D.
